These terms apply to the Verity RP website (verityrp.co.za), the Verity RP FiveM server, and our community spaces such as Discord. By using any of them you agree to these terms, our server rules and our community guidelines.

1. Who we are

Verity RP is an independent FiveM roleplay community. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re (FiveM), Valve (Steam) or Discord. Grand Theft Auto and related names and marks belong to their owners.

2. Age requirement

You must be 18 or older to use Verity RP. We may ask for reasonable proof of age and may remove access from anyone we believe is under 18.

3. Your accounts

You sign in to the website with Steam. You are responsible for everything done with your account, so keep your Steam and Discord accounts secure.
One person, one account. Do not share accounts or use another person’s account.
Do not use alternate accounts to get around a ban, suspension, whitelist decision or other restriction.

4. Requirements to play

To join the server you need a legitimate copy of Grand Theft Auto V for PC and the FiveM client. You must also follow the Rockstar Games and Cfx.re terms that apply to FiveM. We do not provide or sell the game.

5. Whitelist and server access

Verity RP is whitelisted. Access is granted through an accepted whitelist application on this website, or by staff.
You must connect with the Steam account (or linked Discord account) that belongs to your website account.
Access is a privilege, not a right. Staff may refuse, suspend or remove access, including for breaking these terms or the rules.
Removing access on the website takes effect the next time you connect.

6. Conduct

You agree not to:

break the server rules or community guidelines;
harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone;
cheat, use mod menus or third-party tools, or exploit bugs (report bugs instead);
trade in-game money, items or vehicles for real money or anything of real value, unless Verity RP has expressly authorised it;
attack, overload, probe or try to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or other players’ accounts;
post anything unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights, or share other people’s personal information.

7. Content you submit

You keep ownership of what you submit (such as ticket messages, application answers and images). You give us permission to store, display and use it as needed to run Verity RP, including for moderation. Staff may remove content that breaks these terms.

8. Enforcement

Staff may warn, jail, kick, suspend or ban players, remove whitelist access, or remove content, depending on what happened. Serious cases may lead to a permanent ban. You can appeal a decision by opening a Ban Appeals support ticket. Staff decisions on appeals are final.

9. In-game items and progress

Characters, money, items, vehicles and progress exist only within the game and have no real-world value. They may be changed, reset or removed, for example to fix bugs, to reverse exploits, or during server updates. We are not obliged to compensate for any loss.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the website and server running, but we do not guarantee they will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause or close any part of Verity RP at any time.

11. Liability

Verity RP is provided free of charge and “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website or server, including loss of in-game progress. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

12. Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. Continuing to use Verity RP after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
